I woke up this morning with one of the most annoying and worst feelings; feeling totally unrested. It is not that this feeling is ok any other morning, but when it happens on a Monday, you know it is going to be a long week. This whole Spring ahead time change is not helping at all either. My internal clock is that sensitive that the one hour time change has me all jumbled up. So yes, this is just another Manic Monday where I would pay good money for a long nap or a mini vacation. And speaking of which, there is something so perfect about many of the Rebecca Minkoff bags and their names that makes me want to hop in he car and get away for a few days. The new stylish tote added to the pre-existing list of hits is the Rebecca Minkoff Steady Tote. This bag sports glazed leather with embossed metallic leather trim and funky stud detail throughout. There are snap slant pockets at the front and back and an optional shoulder strap. Dimensions are great for throwing a few things in and getting out of here; 9″H x 14″L x 8″D. The colors of this bag are peaceful, in a dusty neutral with subtle shimmers of silver accents. The Steady Tote is simple, fun, and calling my name to pack it up and drive me away. I’ve got to comment on your first 4 sentences. I absolutely HATE the time change. I barely slept last night and feel your pain. But the good news is this: summer is on its way, when, I don’t know and it won’t get here soon enough.
There was a mention of this bag in the LA Times IMAGE section, and my mom pointed out how much she wanted it, but couldn’t tell whether or not it had a shoulder strap. I’m glad it does and am going to forward this link to her. Yeah, the time change is being a bitch and a half. I am up, and my body totally feels like it’s seven am. Oh lordy. It’s all a joke.

i don’t like this bag, there’s something about the trim and the pockets, it’s just wrong.
I don’t like it either…too plain, boxy. Doesn’t make a statement.
This remains me of Kooba Charlie bag. I was eye-ing on the Charlie for while but it looks like the RM has more rooms.
don’t get me wrong, i LOVE rebecca minkoff bags! the morning after, the nikki, the matinee! so fabulous. but this one just doesn’t make my heart skip a beat….

i think the thing with RM bags are that they are plain to look at at first, and then the more you look at it the more you grow to like it~ it happened with the MA~ it was not big hit when it first came out 2-3 yrs ago~ i remember reading nasty comments about it, then the matinee, and now the steady. I think these bags tend to grow on ppl with time
