i totally agreed with fashionista i will never buy a bag from NG again because this is not the first time i heard that she mistreat not only her workers in colombia but in NY too and that her son is even worst thatn she is.

You know, I do not know if Nancy Gonzalez is a real person. And much less will I ever understand why the Purse Blog continues to showcase this inferior brand. There is no website for this company, nothing. Ok, they wholesale obviously. And what Andrea said about her lack of humanity, etc. is probably accurate. If she worked for this woman, why would she lie? What would she gain by saying an untruth? And Carolina, does she know the “NANCY” gal by having worked for her or did she just meet her during a “smiling a la politician” event?” If what Andrea says is true, which it probably is, it is utterly disgusting. I wonder if the US stores (and now she is in London too . . . shame), know about the treatment she gives to her workers (mothers!) If they are indeed aware of it, why don’t they dump her and start to carry the much more beautiful and stylish Marcela Calvet bags, who by the way is a humanitarian as well. Logically, since Gonzalez has grown so much (I still do not know HOW), in order to keep up with the demands of making many bags to supply the stores that carry her brand, it would not surprise me if the workers are in effect OVER-WORKED. Also, if the demand is great, the bags by default, begin to lack in quality. In this case, it is probably BOTH. Aside from that, caiman skin from Colombia (like the one she uses which is Fuscus), is an inferior skin in terms of durability and quality than the skin of those species found in Brazil, Paraguay or Argentina like Yacare and Caiman Latirostris which are more closely related to the alligator Missisipiensis (or American alligator).

And to Purse Blog I would say to no longer showcase this brand, since a woman who mistreats mothers by overworking and threatening them if they leave earlier, which is what Andrea said, for the sake of getting richer at their expense, does not deserve such loyalty or admiration. Nancy Gonzalez, shame on you. I would never buy one of your inferior and overpriced handbags when I know that my money goes to YOU and not your workers, whom you mistreat and threaten. You are not worthy.
