Jimmy Choo Mona Large Tote: Fab or Drab?

Jimmy Choo Mona Large Tote: Fab or Drab?

I have chosen not to pass judgment on this bag, rather let you all make the decision. We all know the Jimmy Choo Ramona, Mahala, and Clutch have garnered a following. But what about this Mona? The Jimmy Choo Mona Large Tote features a black leather and suede body with gold hardware. The tote sports a zip fastening around the middle, which makes this bag act as an accordion, being able to lengthen or compact at the middle. By undoing the central zip, the bag becomes larger and will expose the logo plaque. The inside is lined in suede and has lilac ribbon trim. Buy through Net A Porter for $1,995.

I know there are fans of J.Ch. bags but I’m not one of them and this bag is NOT changing it. Shoes he does great and that’s about it for me.

I’m not too fond of the over all look, but it might grow on me. I think it is a good concept. It’s like getting two bags for the price of one. There are those times when you keep stuffing things into your bag and you don’t have enough room. This might solve that problem.

The concept is clever but the bag looks terrible when unzipped (and not all that great when zipped).

i LOOOOOOVE this bag! it is so simple and would be perfect as a weekend bag - the hidden zipper would mean i could carry more in it when needed. i think it is an awesome idea!

Is this the bag Gwyneth Paltrow used in Iron Man? The one where she was downloading the files from Stark’s office?
