Jimmy Choo Malena Tote: Fab or Drab?

Jimmy Choo Malena Tote: Fab or Drab?

6.4.2007 | by Megs | under: Fab or Drab , Jimmy Choo Handbags , Totes

Jimmy Choo Malena Tote

What are your thoughts on this multi-colored patent leather tote? Is it funky and edgy or does it look like a water color train wreck? The Jimmy Choo Malena Tote shows off a seemingly changing patent leather coloring on the east west tote along with contrast suede panels. Double handles along with a zip fastening top finishing off the top, while brass hardware adorns the outside. Through Net-A-Porter for $2300.

Fab or Drab?

Hideous…I think Jimmy Cho should stick to shoes!

It’s not cute, but it’s not hideous. It could look nice with the perfect outfit, I guess.

i really don’t know….i didn’t even have an initial opinion and after looking it over i still don’t have one…it’s not really fab but i wouldn’t say it’s drab either…it’s just okay.

It could work in another color gradient, but I wouldn’t classify it as “drab”. It could work with a specific outfit. It’s not as good a design as Choo’s other bags.

EWWW DRAB!!! THE COLOR AND DESIGN ALL WRONG!

I think these designers have gone crazy with the pricetags on these handbags? What are we paying for except his name? The handbag CERTAINLY doesn’t cost half of that to make! And it’s really not a terrific looking bag on top of it!

Normally I’m a big J Choo fan, but unless this looks better in person than in the pic, I’ll pass this one by.

DRAB - the color is sickening..reminds me of seaweed. And, I might add, it’s a tad overpriced..

Drab, it would only look good with a one color outfit, it is too busy.

This bag is definitely fab. Jimmy Choo may be entering the bag-making world on a positive note.

its plain ugly!
seriously girls i think most designers have gone mad with their prices!
and on top of that look what they coming up with..
Last time a price tag of 2300 was justified was the Fendi Spy bag in my opinion.

um, weird. they REALLY need to stop with the bags, the designs just are NOT workin for them.

It’s absolutely gorgeous; of course the general public is not going to fall in love with a bag like this, it isn’t for the general public, it’s for a woman with very good, discerning taste.

I also like it very much… but not on that color (black).. I wear it and it was very nice and give a special touch to my outfit. did not purchase it because :

1) too expensive 1350 Euros
2) the details (not elegant)

But I have to say, that this Malena bag is not for everyone and will never became a classic like the riki

I’ve seen it in camel color (with no patent) and think it’s great. I’m going to buy it.
