D’Angel Tia Tote

In the handbag loving world the prices have continued to go through the roof. I can justify certain amounts, but sometimes it just hits the point where a handbag price is no longer something I am willing to spends or even in my means to spend. So many of us yearn for an exotic bag, but can not afford the prices. That is why an affordable exotic bag is hard to find, but when you find it, buy it and run for the hills. I was told about a python bag whose price is unbeatable. Lux Couture is carrying a line of handbags from D’Angel, whose designers are Vibri Wulandari and Dewi Sugiarto. The bags are hand-made in Indonesia which exotic skins, including python, cobra, watersnake, and lizard skins. Right now their bag that will undoubtedly fly off the shelves is the D’Angel Tia Tote which is made with python skin on a roomy tote. There is a chic addition of a tassel detail on each tote along with a drawstring top. The shape is beautiful and great for the woman who has to carry around a lot (measures 15 x 8 x 5.5 inches). This bag is also available in natural, cranberry, and caramel. The snake skin is thin, not super thick, but the bag is durable and chic. The best part about this bag is the price. I saw the price and was sure it was a typo, but it is not. You can have a python tote for only $500!!! I know, right?! This is a price that can not be beat on a chic and trendy bag. Exotic skins are always in style (for those that love them) and this is a great piece if you are trying to watch your bank account. Inquire through Lux Couture and tell Sari Brown we sent you. She always, always, always, provides amazing customer service! With a price like this, these bags will fly off the shelf; so go get yours while you can!

UDPATE: The D’Angel Tia Tote sold out at Lux Couture today thanks to all of you! I will be in touch with Sari to see if she has more in stock, but we had to let you know that you all made history for a short and quick 100% sell out!!!! Enjoy your bags!!!

What a coincidence! I was eyeballing these on Sari’s website yesterday. I love them. I can’t decide which color I like more: cranberry or caramel!

The bag looks beautiful…love the cranberry and the caramel…just worried that it mentioned that the snake skin is THIN…I guess that’s why it is so inexpensive…I will think about it…don’t have a phyton bag yet…if anything, hey, return it!

I would like to compliment Sari at Lux Couture for her excellent customer service! I recently purchased a bag on sale that had some scratches on the metal hardware, which my jeweler was able to polish off. Sari had offered a credit on the “final sale” bag if I wanted, but in the end I kept the bag. She also mentioned all the great new bags arriving, and judging by these the above bags she wasn’t kidding!

The cranberry is lovely. I’m not a big fan of draw string bags, but that is a very good price.

PLEASE DONT READ THIS IS YOU ARE FAINT OF HEART!!!!!!! sad stuff below……… (no joke.)

i have to admit that the bags are beautiful, but i was so sad to learn how they get the snake skin to make the bags. now i know i will never indulge in a snake skin bag (even though i HATE SNAKES!!!). i don’t want to sound like a PETA freak, but the way the animals are skinned alive for their skin to make a purse just isn’t cool with me :( :(:(:(

Why Can’t I have one in Calif? Read on — CAL SB880
    BACKGROUND AND EXISTING LAW
Section 653o of the Penal Code prohibits the importation,
possession with intent to sell, and the sale in California of products made from several species, including polar bear, leopard, ocelot, tiger, cheetah, jaguar, sable antelope, wolf, zebra, whale, cobra, python, sea turtle, colobus monkey, kangaroo, vicuna, sea otter, feral horse, dolphin, porpoise, Spanish lynx, or elephant. Existing law allows the sale of crocodile and alligator parts or products until January 1, 2010.
Violations of this section are a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $1000-$5000 or 6 months in jail.

The croc ban in 2010 could be very bad unless it is overturned before then…

I received mine in brown earlier this week. It is well worth the price. After I received the brown one, I ordered another one in white. For the price, you can’t go wrong. I also own 2 Devi Kroell python bags. While this tote is not as nice as my 2 Kroell bags, it doesn’t cost $2,000 each. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this bag.

I just bought the white tia tote, and the skin seems to be very poor quality. I was also expecting it to be glossy, but it wasn’t- I almost feel as if I was sent the wrong bag. Can anybody with the white tia tote let me know if they had the same experience.

I just received my D’Angel Tia bag in purple, they say
“you get what you pay for…” is totally right. I basically expected to be slightly disappointed (considering the price), and can only say- if you can afford a known designer bag- don’t get this one, if you can’t- then this one can be right for you. The color is beautiful, the python leather is soft, the bag is spacious, but the quality is very poor, the hardware and the inside fabric are cheap looking and really ruin the overall look. But again –the price is wright.

I bought this bag last year but I noticed that the stitching of my lining are ripped off. I have always been careful with my bags but I guess the craftmanship of the bag is poor. Oh well. Just like Marina said… you get what you paid for. I am disappointed.
