Tods Mink D Bag

My feelings are a bit conflicted about it already being mid-October. On the one hand, I’m excited for the holidays, but on the other, I can’t believe how fast the year has flown by. However, the nice thing about the end of the year is that with the impending holiday season comes a slew of Limited Edition items from some of our favorite designers hoping to entice us to open our wallets and buy.

Tod’s is one of the first brands out of the holiday gate with their limited edition run of the house’s iconic items, from the Tod’s Gommino Shoes to the Tod’s D Bag. The highly coveted Gommino shoes are available in a variety of skins and embellishments, including exotics, studs, and metallic leather. On the other hand, the D Bag, which is a staple for the house, will be warmed up for winter in white mink fur.

For anyone who loves Tod’s, you know that the brand is known for its simple beauty and timeless designs. I love this approach because adding a little spice to an already well-loved piece leaves us with functional and fun pieces. For this collection, the highly coveted Tod’s Gommino Shoes are available in two-tone exotic leather and pony skin, in suede with hand-stitched embroideries or in pony skin with hand-applied metal studs. I live for my Tod’s shoes, they are really comfortable and always look chic, so a funky version like one of these is calling my name for Holiday parties and everyday use.

As for the Tod’s D Bag, since its launch in 1997, there has been no slowdown for this staple. The bag exudes understated luxury, and that’s plainly clear to anyone who sees it. As much as I know many are not fans of fur bags, this rendition looks quite stunning and would work so well during the cold weather as a perfect winter white accessory. The items will be Aavailable at Tod’s boutiques worldwide starting in November.

Love the metallic shade on leather loafers, hate the mink bag… Hideous beyond words :-(

I actually like the Mink bag, it look much better than many other fur bags

I love Tod’s bags but the mink bag looks like moldy tofu. Sorry!

Really, the bag looks good on its own already. The fur is absolutely not necessary. And yes poor mink. When will designers ever wake up from this stupid idea?

are there any mens shoes in the holiday collection?

There is plenty of nice leather out there, also great faux that can look wonderful. The handbag is obviously beautiful but more than one mink had to be sacrificed….so not worth it!
