Everything is going to be a tad slower around here for the next two weeks. Vlad and I are currently and finally (officially) moving from Ohio to Florida. The amount of ‘stuff’ that has piled up over the years is disgusting. Really, you should purge your closet, it feels good! The one thing I could not purge was any of my handbags. I came across a VERY old Coach handbags (in fact my first ever) and I can not part with that little bugger no matter what! As I looked at many of my bags, I noticed some wear and tear. I do treat my bags well, but they are meant to be worn. Wearing a bag will undoubtedly give it signs of aging. And sure, the Prada Nylon Bags can be overpriced, but boy do they hold up! I have my college messenger bag from Prada still and it is in perfect shape. So I decided I would love a nylon bag that is still easy to clean but brings a little more style along with it, just as the Tod’s Pockets D-Bag Piccola bag does. While this bag is available in ruby red or black nylon, I would totally opt for the red which packs a little punch. There are double shoulder straps and side leather pulls with three exterior pockets. This bag is the sister to the Tod’s Roxy which Cameron Diaz loves. The dimensions of this bag are large, don’t let them fool you, measuring 14½”W X 12″H X 5″D. If you had a small child or two, this would work to tote their essentials around in for the day. When you travel it is important to make sure your man carries a bag along too. My handbag gets heavy from long days of walking and I always need a helping hand. Vlad carries his Louis Vuitton Taiga Dersou Messenger Bag with him and I begin to unload my unwanted items. That way my purse is lighter, my shoulder stops aching, and my man can carry my essentials that essentially hurt. Tod’s is a great designer to turn to for sturdy, stunning, manly designs. They are not feminine, yet they can definitely be classified as stylish. Take a load off your shoulder and tell your man (or buy your man) the Tod’s Messenger Bag. The dark brown textured leather gives off a masculine color and the contrast stitch keeps the bag from looking drab. I love the toned down shoulder strap, which is made with canvas. The hardware is metal and there are accessory compartments on the inside. The compartments, of course, are for you to help your man organize his things or your things. The dimensions would fit a small lap top, but if you are packing heavy machinery (17″ Mac Book Pro a la Vlad and I) you either need a bigger bag or to leave your lap top at home. If you can keep your hands clean, then this pochette will be a stunning crisp evening bag. Tod’s is known for understated elegance, for clean lines and bags that function. With a touch of refined charm, the Tod’s Boomerang Pochette manifests its beauty in symmetry and class. Designed with a light colored lizard skin with metallic accents, this clutch is touched up to stand out. The only aspect that I am a tad unsure of is the jeweled push-lock closure, as I question if it looks too ornate or just right. Either way the body of the clutch is perfect, and lined in supple suede. Measurements are 6.5″x 4.25″x 1.25″. In the season of events, this could be the perfect accessory, if it fits your style wants and needs. Buy through eLuxury for $1250.

Right now she is in Vancouver and was spotted out to lunch with friends looking very casual. Remember when we spotted Cameron Diaz leaving the gym, with her ever-tight abs, legs, buttocks, arms, and thighs? Oh yeah, I mean sporting a stunning nylon bag? I absolutely love the Tod’s Luna Nylon Media Bag because you can spill, run in the rain, throw it around, and it will still maintain its shape, color, and will not get ruined. That is the great thing about nylon, it does not get ruined very easily. I adore the patent leather trim, tonal topstitching, and lots of polished gold hardware found on the three patent trimmed outside zip pockets. The round stud detailing also adds an extra kick. Adjusting from 11″ to 17″, the shoulder strap can be slung low to wear a-la-Cameron-Diaz. Dimensions are large, measuring 15.75″x 11.5″x 4.75″. So I love this bag for a no-hassle no-worry everyday bag. But I am still not sure the price is justifiable. Even at $600 I may budge, but what do you think of just under $900? Too much or worth it?
