Fall is fast approaching, and perhaps for that very reason, celebs are getting a little adventurous with their handbag choices. This roundup is pretty evenly split between classic black leather bags from Fendi, Chanel and The Row that could survive any season, as well as bling-tastic selections from Miu Miu, Bulgari and others that are very now.
It’s winter, so of course the pin-heeled Kurt Geiger Britton pumps are extremely popular with celebs this week. Celebrities go through phases with these shoes, for reasons that aren’t exactly clear. (They’re great, so you’d think we’d see them all the time.) Sure, conditions in NYC aren’t especially icy and treacherous just yet, but I don’t expect celeb shoe choices to be any more reasonable in the coming winter months.
Technology is usually our friend, but sometimes it turns on us, and that’s what happened with our original tour through Victoria Beckham’s incredible handbag collection. Cannes is over, the Met Ball is a distant memory and even the Tonys are done, so now our celeb round-ups mainly consist of stars going about their daily celeb lives. Our first roundup this week just happens to be roughly 90% “celebs I would like to party with.” (Not so fast, Lily Collins.
This is not one of those celeb bag roundups where everyone looks totally relatable and down-to-earth, and half the celebs we feature are just grabbing some fro-yo in West Hollywood. This is one of those celeb bag round-ups where (almost) everyone brought their A-game, right along with their A-game handbags.
Louis Vuitton launched a new fashion exhibition in LA last Thursday night, and of course, celebs flocked to the event with their very best Louis Vuitton bags in tow. We’ve showcased a few of the more unusual selections from the launch party for you in today’s celeb roundup, alongside the usual mix of celebs carrying bags in airports and outside hotels or TV stations.
[Editor’s Note: While we rest up for the beginning of a new year and for all the great things it has in store, we’ll be running a modified schedule of both new posts and popular favorites from 2014, updated with new pictures and information.
