It’s July, and celebs are sporting some premium peak summer looks. It’s just teased hair, short shorts, mini-dresses and mesh for days. Summer celebs are probably my favorite celebs. Their bag selections are both brightly colored or neutral. There’s no particular theme or prominent trend in this round-up, but we do have a nice fringed Saint Laurent, a lovely, prismatic patterned Roger Vivier, and another appearance by Coach‘s hot new style, the Swagger.

Our metaphorical cup runneth over with celebrity handbags. We’re still sorting through pics from the hours preceding the Met Ball, and people’s pre-Ball handbags were sometimes more interesting than what they wore later that evening. Paris Fashion Week is the grandaddy of them all, and the street style certainly reflected that. Like Milan Fashion Week before it, brands invited fewer celebrities, so editors, bloggers and street style stars got more of a chance to shine. We slogged through a million (only a slight exaggeration) photos of the proceedings to find the best bags on the most stylish stars, and you can check them all out below.
Here’s Miranda Kerr, caught in a rare, (comparatively) casual moment outside of JFK. She’s carrying a calfhair A.L.C. Lucas Leopard Satchel and wearing a black leather pair of Birkenstock Arizona Sandals. You can find Miranda’s bag at Barneys for $1,095, and you can also pick up a pair of Birks just like hers for $120 at Net-A-Porter.
Celebrities: they’re just like us, at least in that some of them go all-out for Easter, and others can’t figure out why the grocery store isn’t open on Sunday morning. Everyone from Fergie to Duchess Kate (who had her Alexander McQueen clutch altered to replace the holiday-inappropriate skull clasp) was out and about yesterday, and we took the opportunity to chronicle their Easter handbag choices, no matter whether they were headed to church or to pilates class.
