Fear not, the celeb bag picks this week are slightly less predictable than you’d think. There are gorgeous new offerings from Louis Vuitton and Coach, and a few must-see Chanel clutches from the red carpet at the British Fashion Awards.
Venice was bursting at the seams with film industry A-listers last week, and, fair warning, they started making their way back to American shores over the weekend, so you can expect a fair amount of celeb photos from the airport later this week.
Hermès has a solid handle on celeb hearts this week, as a ton of celebs pulled out their best and most exotic Birkins and Kellys. (Ostrich, anyone?) An adorable baby heiress also makes an appearance (sans baby Hermès handbag), someone got glitter-bombed at LAX and Taylor Swift has a new bag!
It’s legitimately feels like spring in about three quarters of the US right now, and that means it’s time to bust out the short shorts, the Céline bags, and…Sharon Stone? Sharon is making herself very available to paparazzi this month, for reasons I can’t quite pinpoint, but it’s okay because she looks fabulous and her bag picks are CHOICE.
London Fashion Week is upon us, and this week it happened to overlap with the Oscars, which meant that LFW was an A-list actor-free zone during the first few days. London’s best “it” girls, pop singers, and modeling legends still turned out in force, of course.
It’s that time of year again, friends. The new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is out, and that means it’s an especially busy time for the types of supermodels you see almost exclusively in SI and the Victoria’s Secret runway show.
Russian supermodel (and repeat Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl) Irina Shayk was recently spotted hanging out with a couple of friends in Soho. She’s carrying a bright, cobalt blue Hermes Birkin, of course. It’s surprising to see Irina in the city when her boyfriend, Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, is currently playing for his home country of Portugal in the World Cup.
The 2014 Cannes Film Festival has come and gone, all two weeks of it, although I’m of the belief that it is perhaps happening out there, somewhere, in perpetuity, but on a plane of existence to which we only have access once a year.
Although most of our celebrity handbag coverage is US-centric, we try to keep in mind that not only are a lot of our readers not American, but a lot of fantastic handbag collections exist in the closets of celebrities beyond our shores.
