These are the images we’ve been waiting to see for what seems like years (but has actually only been months) – the Jason Wu x Target lookbook is here! And for once, at long last, the handbags that have resulted from this collection aren’t utter crap. Leave it to Mr. Wu to finally do right by the accessories lovers in the audience.

The lookbook, which can be found in its entirety after the jump, features 16 full looks, 10 handbags and three cute square scarves. Some of the bags, like an oatmeal-colored canvas tote, are pretty standard, while a few of them (most notably a cream and black satchel and a north-south tote emblazoned with the image of the little black cat who inspired the collection) are standouts. The best part? Nothing in the collection will retail for more than $49.99. The collection launches at Target stores nationwide on February 5.

We know that today is the first real day back to work for many of you and you probably have a ton of stuff you’re supposed to be doing right now, but by the very virtue of you seeing this post, we know that you’re not doing it. Time to drop that charade, don’t you think? Well, we have a way for you to even further embrace your workplace procrastination – shopping, duh.

(It’s your boss’s own fault for not giving you an extra day off.) I’m going to level with you here: The handbag selection in the Neiman Marcus After Christmas Sale isn’t all that fantastic. Almost all of it is an extra 25% off the marked price, so you should take a look anyway, but it’s the shoes that should really be your first point of attack. They, too, are nearly all an extra 25% off, so don’t let the seemingly lackluster markdowns fool you; the prices are actually much lower than they appear to be at first glance.
