Now that we’re more than halfway through the first week of December, holiday party invitations are beginning to trickle in, and we’re already thinking about what we’re going to wear. The best outfits always start with accessories, which is why this week we rounded up the best bags and sparkliest clutches we spotted in our Instagram feed this week. Check out our picks below!

It’s been quite the journey for me with PurseBlog, and over the past nine years, I’ve amassed quite the bag collection. I like to travel when I can and I always take a few bags with me on my trips. We thought it would be fun to round up some photos of my bags and the places I’ve taken them on this journey we call life.

As you’ve probably seen, Vlad and I were in Florence with LUISAVIAROMA for its 7th annual Firenze4Ever event. One of the main parts of the exciting few days is having the chance to style our own looks on a model. We really had fun with it and put together three different looks with a feature on some of our favorite bags.

Her Proenza Schouler PS11 didn’t seem so repelling after all.

Elie Tahari Fall ’12.

…by Reem Acra. For Fall/Winter 2012.

I didn’t think this would happen, but I’ve changed outfits twice each day during fashion week so far. Different shows calls for different looks and this leaves me planning ahead and tearing apart my closet.Yesterday morning we started the day with the Kate Spade Fall 2012 presentation which meant bubbly fun and lots of colors early in the morning.

Knowing the Kate Spade girl is all about pops of colors and lots of quirk, I wore my hot pink J Brand jeans, my new turquoise and black cap-toe Lanvin flats, a super comfy grey vkoo sweater, and of course my bright pink Kate Spade Melinda Tote.

Yesterday New York Fashion Week began and I, like majority of attendees, scrambled around the house and pillaged through my closet trying to find something appropriate to wear. During my closet frenzy, Vlad amusedly asked me if all women think we need more clothes in our closets. The answer was a resounding ‘”YES, YES WE DO”.

When not dealing with fashion week and the corresponding sartorial pressure, I am not nearly as concerned with my clothing choices, after all, I dress myself around my handbag.
