Mulberry Roxanne

Mulberry RoxanneIf you are an avid handbag fashion follower, you will know the hype about the Mulberry bags. I love them. Simple but still detailed, I know that is an oxymoron. Leather bags never seem to go out of style, and the Mulberry bag is made of fine leather and beautiful studs which sets it apart from the rest. This particular bag makes me want to dress über cute and go out on the town to show it off.

The Mulberry Roxanne is one of the major hypes in the handbag industry at the moment. Offered also in oak brown and rose pink, the creamy vanilla leather has my pick. The beautiful color is accentuated with brass hardware and two pockets on the front. Also the bag features double leather straps with brass loops on end. What I love are the buckles placed all over the bag. There are press stud fastenings under the faux buckles on two external pouch pockets. Then also there are press stud fastenings on the three straps which secure main body of the bag, with of course the signature Mulberry logo on each rivet. Because the bag is unlined, you will have to be very careful what you place inside and hopefully not spill anything or it could damage the leather easily. But there is a small zip pouch on the inside to hold lipstick or a wallet or cell phone. The dimensions are 34cm x 18cm x 17cm and the bag can be purchased at Net-A-Porter for around $1045.

It’s a great looking bag but very bulky and heavy – when I saw it in person and held it, I changed my mind.

I got the oak one for christmas and totally love it. Has anyone got any advice on caring for it? Do you need to use leather protector because mine gets stained by water really easily.

 Read the care card, it tells you what to spray it with, to protect it, then it can be carried in the rain with no probs.

I have the bag in lavender- which is the rosy pink. It is beautiful against blue jeans. I saw a picture of Eva Longoria in a mag with the same bag in brown. It is so sinfully glamorous. It replaces my Chloe silverado (large) in Bordeaux (wine colored). I still miss that bag though, I sold it to get this one. Couldn’t afford both at the same time, besides husband would choke for sure. If I figure out how to upload pics, I’ll put one up. Any advice?

How fabulous is this bag? I bought mine last friday in oak (I was very tempted by the chocolate) and can’t take my eyes off of it (it even comes upstairs when I go to bed

I can’t believe the size of it, it fits everything in and I can even use it for work. I love the fact that its dead glam but isn’t an overly designer bag (theres no brand names all over it) so unless ur really into ur bags you wouldn’t know what it was or how much it costs, (very different lovely louis vuitton bag.)

    Love, love love it

 You are absolutly right. I don’t like the feeling of being stared at, the way you would if you had a “LV”, which I have the Manhattan. I feel uncomfortable. I like the ease of the Roxanne. Also, I don’t feel like I have to guard it with my life (like the Silverado).

I have the dark tan Roxanne…. new on Saturday… Saturday night I put my bag on a table and someone spilt a drink, it hit the bag (splashes) and also soaked a little of the drink along the bottom of the bag.
What can I do to remove these datk stains?
