You don’t need me to tell you what comes to mind when you think of fall, but one of the aspects of the season I love the most are the deep, rich, dark colors. This bag captures the essence of rich and dark colors flawlessly.
Sometimes, it is important to really watch what you do because if you aren’t careful too many dark colors will blend to look like a 4 year old’s art painting. You know what I am talking about here: that period of time when kids want to blend everything. Any color that is offered must be put onto the paper and before you know it, all the colors have combined to one dark blob. While it is endearing when it comes to the creative talents of a young child, it’s not what I want to see on my handbag.
The pintucked leather and silvertone hardware compliment one another. And while there are some designers who add zippers for the fun of it, the zip closure along the base of this bag actually allows for expansion. I am not exactly sure why the shoulder strap is removable, since the bag looks a bit large to be carried as a clutch, but hey, like Tim Gunn might say, “make it work”! My birthday is coming up soon (December is soon, right?) so since I love it so much, maybe someone will buy it for me. Actually, at this price, heck, I’ll just buy it for myself.
