After ogling pictures of the green Proenza Schouler Continental Wallet for the past few days, I went to the mall yesterday morning to try and find a kelly green bag for less than $500 that would satiate my desire for the color without completely breaking the bank. I was brutally rebuffed. The only green bags that called my name were those far outside of my impromptu splurge budget.

I should have known better than to start my search in-person than online, though; I seem to have much better luck with computer-based shopping than any other form of bag-hunting these days. And that’s how I found the Tano Reality Starlet Hobo, which can be yours for the low, low price of $199. And yes, it’s made out of real leather.

I’ve never owned a Tano bag and it’s been a while since I’ve heard the name; it seems as though the brand had a surge in popularity either last year or the year before and then consumers backed off a bit, for whatever reason. Perhaps the line’s popularity reached a saturation point or the designs left something to be desired for a couple of collections, but there’s certainly no reason that the line shouldn’t move through stores briskly with large leather bags selling at a price point in the low three digits. This isn’t a perfect bag, but for the money, you won’t beat it. Buy through Must Have Bag for $199 in seven different colors.

Love the green obsession. Been happily carrying my Light Olive GSH Balenciaga City for several weeks now. It’s juicy and rich and beautiful!

Wow that is super cheap!! I’ve never heard of this brand before actually. I like the shape and the color of this bag, but the strap looks a little off to me and I don’t like how those little strap bits stick out.

That is so funny that you talk about “green obsession”. Every Spring I get an urge for a green bag too!

Can’t bring myself to like the plasticky looking leather that Tano uses.

Whoa, that price is crazy! I always like to add a little green to my style in spring and summer as well, most of my green is in the form of shorts, floaty tops, sundresses, etc.

I love the colour, but I hope the leather is nice for the price!

That is a beautiful color. I really like the brown strap.

Love Tano. I can afford the brand for one thing, and many of the styles work ideally for my life/work style. I love the lux leather (“plasticky” for some possibly?).

My new spring Tano is gorgeous in “natural” and under $300.00 from musthavebag.com
