NYC has so many amazing sample sales that they can be hard to keep up with. There are a few that wind up with me wanting to brave the lines and crowds, and now with Baby D on the way, Bonpoint tops the list. Bonpoint is a French clothing house for children that’s been in business since 1975, and it designs some of the most glorious children’s clothing ever. While I won’t have Baby D in Bonpoint daily, I do hope to add some outfits to her wardrobe for special occasions, though the brand offers daily wear as well.
The prices for Bonpoint are not cheap, so the Bonpoint Sample Sale is probably one of the most anticipated shopping occasions for moms in Manhattan. In fact, if you watched Real Housewives of NYC, you might remember Jules making a comment during an interview with a potential nanny that she’d need her to wait on line for the Boinpoint sample sale. She sounded absurd, but the truth is that this sample sale is so coveted, people take it that seriously.
