    in that case my one true love is my ‘polki’ necklace. ‘polki’ is the traditional art of making jewelery with uncut diamonds set in enamel and gold. It costs a bomb and i saved for years to buy one. When all my friends would blow off their money on buying whatever was the current trend, i saved and saved and saved.
    I have worn it just once but i take it out every few days just to stare at it :)

    My one true love will always be my amazing, wonderful husband. I knew on our first date that I never wanted to be with anyone else – only him – for the rest of our days. He was the best person I ever met in my entire life – kind, funny, generous, incredibly smart, athletic, spiritual, and always one to laugh at himself first.     My true love – my horse. After my mother died, I decided life was so short. I’d been riding horses since I was a child and I always wanted a horse, but getting one was something that had always been put off. So I stopped waiting (and saving) and started looking. After a few failed vet checks and disappointments, I found my horse.

    He helped me see through my grief and numbess and start to reconnect with the world around me. It was more than an hour lesson or a borrowed ride. We had to work as a team I had to learn to trust him, and he had to learn to trust me. There were ups and downs. He taught me about unconditional love and how the world can still be a wonderful place even though now it is one without my mother.

    I’ve always dreamt about ‘true love’, and I’ve always thought I could find it in a man, my future man, husband, lover.
    I’m 22 years old, and almost everyday I try to change this feeling, this thought, because when I fell in love for the first time, and I thought he would be the only right one, he made me pass the worst 4 years of my life, beaten me, and abused me. After those years I found the courage to ask for help, but I’ve never found the courage to say all the truth, but above all I never found the courage to say ‘thank you’ to people who have been near my silence, with love.
    I was little when I had naively and unfairly bear a similar experience, but I went ahead and continued to hope to find the right person, my ‘true love’. Needless to say I had other unpleasant experiences, but none more so ‘harmful’, ‘bad’. But I don’t lay low, because one day I will find the right man for me, I’m sure. But what I regret every day, has not yet managed to find the courage to thank those people, who is my family. My parents, who, despite the disappointments, the problems I caused either voluntarily or not, they have always been close. True love, my true love, they are, although I have not the courage to tell them, and they always will be. Sometimes I hate them, and I would run away, but I know they will always be there. Always.

    My true love is design. It appears all over the place even though people may not realize it. It influences everything and reflects what’s going on in the world. Everything from magazines, celebrity fashion, purses, television, and cars. I think Rebecca Minkoff takes the best of what’s going on in the fashion world and designs beautiful bags. I’ve never seen a bag from her that I dislike.

    My true love is my fiance. He is a member of the armed forces and for the past three and a half years we have been in a long distance relationship. He is there for me through it all though. I am currently finishing up finals in the last semester graduating with my associates this semester. He has been so supportive and helped push me to get my degree through all the tough times he has always had all the right words even if it still hurts him to continue to be so far from me. After this semester though we are planning a small wedding for our family and in the summer have a larger ceremony and reception for all our family and friends to celebrate with us after such a long journey!
