Holy poop, y’all. I love this bag. The Rebecca Minkoff Devote Belted Top Tote is, in a word, awesome. For me, at least. It’s a big ol’ hobo, made of great leather, in a bright color, with understated accents and JUST ONE STRAP. A lot of designers lately have succumbed to the urge to add an extra, longer strap to handbags that already have a perfectly functional one, and Ms. Minkoff didn’t do that to this great bag. For that, I salute her, and I just may have to get one of these babies. This shape is my favorite of all time – a hobo that’s slightly taller than it is wide with a giant opening at the top – all the better to dig through when my Blackberry has fallen to the bottom. That’s one thing this bag doesn’t appear to have that I wish it did – an outside pocket for holding my phone and iPod. But I guess we can’t have everything we want, can we, ladies? Buy through Nordstrom for $630.
This is a pretty cute bag. I’m wanting yellow, but unwilling to break the bank for it.

It’s cute, but looks very much like the Kooba Lena with the belt details and bag shape.
It DOES remind me on that Kooba bag. Regardless, this bag is still pretty cute and I love the colour!
This bag doesn’t do it for me. The shape looks like an unflattering, wide skirt cinched off by two tiny belts.
I’ve been wanting to try Rebecca Minkoff and this may be the one to try! A lovely color at a good price.

The shape is just like the MICHAEL Michael Kors Austin Shoulder Bag in Magenta on the right of this post. And the Austin DOES have an outside pocket. I prefer the Austin and it’s cheaper.

Gorgeous bag! Love the color and the belt detail. Haha I agree, the 2 strap thing is kinda silly, but I think still in some cases practical. I think this would look great against a buttercup yellow dress that I just happen to own…hehe

The shape and color caught my eye, but the double belts just makes it look somewhat tacky. And as always, I stay far far away from RM’s bags cus when you get up close, the cheap leather and low quality is really not worth the price.

im wearing of one strap bags.. It’s harder to open and find my stuff! I can’t stick things in designated pockets.. I just throw things in. That’s why I do best with a medium/large chanel flap… just enough space so everything fits!
