A day before the Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2010 presentation was slated to begin, Rebecca herself tweeted, “Who is afraid of a little snow??? The show must go on!” Well, that was before “a little snow” turned out to be a full-on blizzard that was enough to close all public and private schools and universities in Manhattan save for Columbia University (thanks guys.)

Therefore, if I was going to have classes as the snow frantically swirled around the city, I was going to make it to the Rebecca Minkoff presentation.

The Rebecca Minkoff Roadie is a favorite here! I played around with the Roadie and fell in love. I could imagine slinging her over my shoulder for a long road trip, traveling, or just going out and about. It is easy to wear, the perfect size, and has the perfect zing with the studs. There is an easy access exterior zip pocket and interior zip, slip, and card pockets.

Yesterday the world lost arguably the biggest pop star in the world. A man that redefined the music industry as we know it today, the world is remembering Michael Jackson. While many mourn, many are playing his music and remember the musical genius. Michael Jackson sold 3/4 of a billion albums, was known for his moonwalk, was in the music scene for 40 years of his 50 year life, and became known for his fashion choices such as his glittered glove.

You asked for it and Rebecca Minkoff complied. Really, what else could our devoted Minkettes ask for? (I know you all can think of something!). Rebecca Minkoff is actually getting married almost as we speak. Congratulation to Rebecca! A great way to celebrate is with her online sample sale. So maybe you didn’t make it to NYC, LA, SF, or DC, but we can all attend the online sample sale.

I can guarantee you all of one thing: designers and corporate offices have continued to realize the pull that the online realm has. One such example is with Rebecca Minkoff, a designer that we have covered as she started her company through present day, where her bags are known upon first glance and celebrities can not put them down. I don’t doubt that she owes much of her success to the online realm and her fans who have gathered to talk about her bags.

Rebecca Minkoff will be making many personal appearances in the upcoming weeks. Kicking the chain of events off, Rebecca Minkoff will be at Zoey Bloom for a personal appearance and Trunk Show in Tampa, Florida tomorrow. If you in the Tampa area, this is an event you don’t want to miss! Also, we have been told that many brand new, not yet in stores, merchandise will be at the Trunk Show for this event.

One of our favorite designers has her sample sales coming up in the next few weeks.
