Canvas Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch

One of my favorite Rebecca Minkoff designs is her MAC clutch. I own six of these bags in different colors and materials and never get sick of it. The design tranitions flawlessly from day to night and is sizable enough to carry plenty of objects.

In fact, I carried my new copper snakeskin effect MAC today and it fit my continental wallet, keys, iPhone, lipstick, eyeglass cleaning cloth, inhaler, and lollipop. Actually, there was probably more in there, but it packed in nicely and was not bulky at all. This clutch is clutch.

This canvas print Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch features the typical trompe l’oeil spring-lock and pocket graphics in place of hardware. The antiqued gold hardware, zip closure, and chain strap are the only metal additions to the bag. Some RM bags tend to be a bit heavy and I would imagine this canvas version is relatively light.     I really think I NEED this clutch. It’s the perfect size, the perfect style for trips out to the Hamptons, and it’s done in black/white (ok cream) my favorite color scheme for being casual dressy in the Summer. The price makes this a total no brainer! Thanks Megs! :)

    ps I love the way the shoulder strap is done. Sometimes a strap that is all round chain links tends to roll off the shoulder. I can’t wait to get mine!

    The trompe l’oeil bags are very dowdy in person. In fact they’ve appeared at more than a few RM Sample Sales now (there were some sad remnants at the recent NY SS).

    I am going to have to agree a bit with the guest comment. I really would need to see the canvas IRL before I dropped 135$ on it.

    I also own and morning after clutch, and I love it. I use it anytime that I want to be hands-free. I don’t find mine to be heavy. It’s amazing how much you can fit in it. It’s in my favorite combination of black trimmed in hot pink.
