Speaking of shopping (as we so often do), have you been considering a new electronic gadget or accessory for yourself or someone else this season? The Computers & Electrics subforum is the gathering place for members with an interest in the latest offerings in mobile phones, computers, readers, and more. The huge array of opinions, tips and threadloads of advice on all things electronic is a great shopping resource too – for instance, a snazzy new iPhone cover makes a wonderful gift, and the “Which iPhone Case Do You Have” thread is a great place to get inspired (even if the gift recipient is you)! PurseBlog contributor Emily Anderson’s blog post about Hilary Duff earlier this week got us thinking about Maison Goyard. Again. We love this wonderful ancient French design house for its longevity, craftsmanship, and, of course, its classic bags. Trunkmakers since 1792, Goyard’s modern lines are fun, colorful, and extremely popular. But a vintage find? Well, that is a rare treasure indeed. Spurred by Emily’s blog post, a trip to the Goyard subforum rewarded us in truly grand fashion. This vintage travel set is a joy to behold – what an amazing find, discovered by PurseForum member and collector AndyLVoe. We are constantly in awe of our members’ collections and discerning tastes, but most of all, in their generosity in sharing these once-in-a lifetime acquisitions. Thanks to AndyLVoe for sharing these Goyard masterpieces with all of us!
Sometimes, even brand devotees cheat. The PurseForum out-of-brand purchase threads give us a tantalizing peek into how our members enhance their various collections. This week, we spotlight Christian Louboutin lovers, who shop stylishly across many brands and reveal their finds in the aptly-named “Share The Love: The CL Girls Non-CL Purchases” thread. This thread is another favorite of ours, and we jumped for joy (figuratively, of course) along with member Sincerelycass11, who scored a fantastic find with these showstopping new Prada boots. This is inspired shopping, to be sure!

But the richest treasures are so often found in other areas of the PurseForum, where members discuss relationships, money matters, careers, and more. We visited the Careers forum this week and spent some time in the “What Do You Do for a Living” and the “Dream Job” threads, which date quite a way back for us but continues to reveal fascinating career ideas that inspire all of us to think outside the box.
