PurseForum Roundup – April 15

We are quickly working our way through April, and it’s time for another edition of the Roundup. This week, we made some quick stops in the Playground, The Glass Slipper and so much more. Thank you for making us one of of your Friday stops, and welcome!

Christian-Dior-Miss-Dior-Shoulder-Bag

Well, hello, gorgeous! This showstopping Miss Dior from sparkletastic topped the charts in Dior this week, and sparkletastic’s photographs of the glorious blue color will brighten your day, guaranteed.

Dior-Diorever-Tote-Unboxing

Our members are loving the Diorever, and we found another one this week, this time from forgetmenot301, who made a timeless selection with this beautiful beige color. Read up for the scoop on the secret compartment, a clever design tidbit that makes the Diorever even more special.

Hermes-Constance-Elan-Bag-and-Scarf

This gorgeous bag comes to us from Hermès and sissy milano’s Sunday Reveal. Reveals are always fabulous in Hermès, and that is of course an understatement. The 2016 fall scarf collection is one of the hottest topics in this subform, and you will find plenty of photographs and discussion right here.

Hermes-Constance-Bag

Pocketyee waited three years for this delicious bag, and didn’t waste any time showing her off when the call finally came. We also got to see the bag in action, and you can too: right here!

Givenchy-Lace-Up-Shoes

Would you? Could you? Even if you are not sure if you would or could, isn’t it great to see these wearable works of art by Givenchy on Kyoki’s feet? We love this shot. There are many more stunning shoes in the What Shoes are You Wearing Today thread in the Glass Slipper. This is a very useful resource when you are in a shoe rut, like we apparently are.

Jason-Wu-Pumps

We do love a T-strap pump, though, and we are not alone. These Jason Wu beauties are from Divealicious, and we want them. We found them in the Post Your Newest Shoe Purchase thread, along with dozens more pairs of shoes that we adore. What is your newest shoe purchase? Now you know where to post your answer.

Bag-Shaming

Uh Oh. The Bag Shaming thread is back. In Bottega Veneta, our members confess to bag abuse, sometime with help from their bags. Last year, diane278’s bag busted her for what is clearly bag mistreatment, no matter the brand! Also in BV, fans of the brand are sharing their honest (and mixed) reviews of the new Beverly bag in this thread. We love honesty! (And we honestly love diane278’s new parachute bag, too.)

Bottega-Veneta-Turquoise-Tote

How about this sweet Monaco in Canard for a nice pop of color this spring? Bottega consistently comes up with some of the most brilliant and beautiful colors in the business, and this bag tells that story perfectly. Congratulations to Tenkrat on a splendid first BV purchase.

Now, for something a little different: some quick and random stops around the PurseForum’s Playground, where we keep everything that isn’t bag-related.

Longchamp-Weekender

In Arts and Crafts, clever jadeaymanalac was inspired to get her DIY on by a bejeweled Prada bag, and she did a great job of recreating the concept. Her successful execution of that bag led to this cute Longchamp! If you are crafty, stop by Arts and Crafts–we have found quite a few surprises there, maybe you will, too.

Dog-Grooming-Before-and-After

We have posted before and after pictures of bags that have spent time at the spa, but none have been as adorable as Swedengirl’s perfectly coiffed pooch. Those ears! We love Animalicious, PurseForum’s pet central.

Fruit-Tart

Speaking of cake: you know how much we love The Kitchen, and this spring our members seem to have been eating particularly well. This lovely dessert is from Cyanide Rose, and you will find plenty more to get your appetite going in the I Ate This thread.

Flower

In Home and Garden, Mimmy’s garden is going strong. Other members are seeing their gardens waking up after a long winter. How is your garden going? Whether it’s a potted plant in your apartment, or a grand planted space outdoors, we would love to see what’s popping up in your green space.

That’s it for this week. We hope you have a happy weekend and week ahead. (Oh, and if you would like to share your happiness, we have a thread for that: What Makes You Happy Today?) Thank you for stopping by, we love rounding up some of what is happening on the PurseForum, and we’re glad you made the time to join us! See you next week!
