Well, that was fast! Another week into the year. This week, we visit the Playground for books, music, and travel, among other Playground destinations. We also have some pretty spring bags to share, and we peek inside makeup drawers in the Beauty Bar. All this and more after the jump, so come on in!
We closed our post last week with a wish for a Happy Mothers Day, and so this week, we took a look around to see what our PurseForum moms revealed after their special day. In Louis Vuitton, MJ8798 shared her darling pochette, and All Smiles revealed her gorgeous Sophia Coppola and Louis Vuitton collaboration bag. Pandorabox got a great surprise from her husband and children and was happy to share her Cambridge satchel with us, while over in the Jewelry Box, designerdiva was thrilled with the blue box from her family. In Hèrmes, grapegravity shared her colorful Ex Libris en Kimono scarf and lovely Collier de Chien ring and juliet827 gave us the pleasure of seeing her beautiful Mother’s Day Birkin in bright and happy rose lipstick.

In Books and Music, the Holiday Reads Thread started up with some great suggestions for the perfect getaway book choice. If you are planning an actual getaway and need help from your PurseForum friends, Bon Voyage is home to discussions on all sorts of destinations, as well as tips for everything from wardrobe to restaurants. (Cappadocia, anyone?) By the way, we came across this fabulous photo in Château Scandanave, a very busy thread in the Chatter Box. Bottega Veneta, as Roundup readers know, is a favorite stop for us. We were thrilled to find janZyn’s crisp white Capri, which signals warm weather loud and clear! BV fans will also be happy to see that there are some new pictures in the jaw-dropping BV Weaving and Treatment processes thread and might also enjoy a spirited discussion of the Cruise 2014 offerings. Reveals by jroger1 and dinitegrity rounded out our visit. But don’t worry, we will return to BV regularly!
Over in the Beauty Bar, the What if You Could Only Wear One Makeup Product thread is still going strong. After giving this a little thought, we are still torn between lip gloss and mascara. It’s too hard to choose just one, and thankfully we don’t have to! And, if we ever feel we have too much makeup, we can always share our woes in the Regret thread. If you are not yet at the regrets stage, please do drop by the Recent Purchases thread in the Beauty Bar, where blackeyedsusan stole the show with her new collection of shadows and lip color. The Recent Purchases thread in Nail Care has also been very busy – PurseForum member Bling It stocked up with this glittery haul, and our polish-loving members are posting their spring polish purchases every day.
The busy Balenciaga forum always has plenty of reveals right on page one. This week, mordant revealed her very first Balenciaga purchase, a gorgeous envelope clutch in classic black. Melu has been editing her collection and has put together a new family portrait for us. New member Maice and her gorgeous Bal Day look like a match made in heaven. Prada pairs with Balenciaga again in this reveal from Yikki, and another colorful Day bag makes the scene in luscious orange in Heart Star’s thread, which asks the question, “Who’s ready?” Well, we sure were!
