The Proenza Schouler PS1 bag has made a strong name for itself. With a large following, the design continues to entice fashionistas worldwide. When you have a design that does not need to be edited, the only way to spruce it up is by changing the colors and materials. That is precisely what Proenza Schouler continues to do, and with these slight changes I find myself on the edge of my seat each season seeing if the perfect color is being released.

Luckily for both me and all of you, Net-A-Porter is giving PurseBlog readers an exclusive first look at the new colors of Proenza Schouler PS1 bags coming to their store.

Net-A-Porter expects both medium and large sizes along with leather and suede options of the Proenza Schouler PS1. While each size and material will not be available in every color, there will be many options. Colors include black, merlot, light brown, navy, olive, lavender, anthracite, and embroidered.

Ok decision time. WHAT COLOR? I have been yearning for a PS1 in leather and think I am ready to take the plunge. As much as merlot sounds amazing, I realized I have many bags in that hue. Olive is great for fall, but is it best for fall and not for more seasons? And then there is the light brown, which is a classic and finishes the school bag look perfectly. You all must give me some opinions and guidance!

Once these bags hit Net-A-Porter we will be sure to alert you. Until then, you can pre-reserve the bag of your choice or get further information from the NAP Fashion Advisor team. Wow! I love this bag and all the colors.

Megs, I recently bought the Givenchy ombre messenger in Olive from Barneys (on sale – yeah!) and LOVE the color. Way more versatile than I thought. But based on the pics above, I like the medium PS1 in the nutmeg-like color and may seriously consider that one myself! It looks so rich and warm and can be carried through all seasons.

I love the way this bag looks, but whenever I’ve picked one up, the handle feels very uncomfortable and hard. Also. Isn’t it a pain to strap the bag closed or do you just leave the straps unsecured?

  • Claire

    that Olive is great!

  • Michele

    The lavender is amazing!

  • mc

    Very Alexa.

  • Gina Geoni

What a successful style! It even works in all the fun colors…
I love the mushroom green and I wouldn’t mind carrying the autumn orange!

Love the colors, but yet again, I don’t understand the allure of this bag.

I love my PS1 medium in midnight, now do I need another medium in one of these gorgeous colors?!?!

  • Celeste

Would love the medium in lavender!

  • Jane

Someday I will buy one, if I am lucky enough to win it. It sucks having designer bag taste with the budget for the dollar store.

Hey guys..one question..who released their respective bags first Mulberry (Alexa) or PS (PS1)??thanks.

The PS1 was first. I think that this is the third season that it’s been out. Alexa just finished out its first season.
