I’ve been sitting on my hands patiently waiting to share the amazing news of the launch of Canadian designer Mackage into the handbag market for Fall 2013. You may know Mackage for its outerwear, but prepare to know the brand for a line of handbags that are beyond good – way better than you would ever expect from a line’s first foray into the accessory market. With great attention to detail, just as the designers give to their famous jackets and coats, Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan have their finger on exactly what’s happening in the accessories game.
What’s even more exciting is that I’ll be designing a bag with Mackage for the brand’s Fall 2013 line. After Mackage reached out, this has been a dream collaboration on every level. Elisa and Eran from Mackage are an amazing design duo; they both have sets of strengths that, when combined, add up to more than the sum of their parts. I love their attention to detail and the thought process that went into making every bag not only stylish, but also highly functional. I can’t wait for everyone to see the collection and the bag that I’ll create! Prices will range from $225 to $600.
