Prada Tessuto S Tote

Don’t make fun of me for this one. Please? Because I feel like you people are going to make fun of me for this one. I genuinely like it, though, so give it a chance. The Prada Tessuto S Tote is, in my mind, totally adorable. It’s frilly and girly but in a somber black nylon that makes it more wearable than if it were, say, pink suede. For some reason, it reminds me of flamenco dancers and fun costumes and all sorts of over-the-top femininity, and although its price might be a bit steep for nylon, Prada’s Tessuto bags are known to wear extremely well. The one problem that I’ve always had with them, though, is that they’re so austere and unisex-looking; this particular ultra-femme tote certainly doesn’t have that problem. Buy through Saks for $995.

I really like it. If it was a bit cheaper i would get it but $1000 for nylon? arent we in a recession?

I don’t love the price, though. Kind of vulgar to pay that for a nylon bag (or perhaps any bag) in this economy, I think.
I have to agree with everyone that the bag is oh-so-pretty but the price is a beyond what I would be willing to part with for a nylon bag, no matter how much ruffles you stick on it…
I do not like Prada’s ruffled bags at all–too faddish, they won’t wear well, and the nylon is cheap looking.

I actually like the ruffles on this bag, I usually find that ruffles don’t work. This bag is cute though
This bag is actually a beautiful rendition of a Prada Tessuto bag, i will have to double check but I think it is $895 at Prada boutiques. It is a carry over from late fall through Spring/Summer.
This is so much better than the phython-bow duo bag from Prada. I am not a big fan if ruffles design but I think this is one elegant and stylish bag.
I cannot believe people are commenting $995 is expensive for PRADA thats a steal nylon or not!!!
