Oh, thank you God, finally. My handbags prayers have been answered. Because Prada has made some questionable handbags lately, and for a designer so known for their bags, it was getting kind of discouraged. The Prada St. Pitone Tote is not my favorite bag that I’ve ever seen, but it’s a strong improvement over the randomly bedazzled bags we’ve seen from the brand lately. The tote takes a cue from their diffusion Miu Miu line’s very successful Bow Satchel with its side adornment, although this tote’s finishing is a little looser and softer. Combine that with a beautiful, large-scale python skin and and some cute top handles, and Prada’s got a great satchel on their hands that will likely sell very well for them. Now if only they’d get away from that habit of sticking random stuff to their bags that has grown so tiresome. Buy through Saks for $995.

Oohhhh, this bag is to die for!!
Prada is my favorite designer, but I’ve seen this bag in real life and it looks like floppy bunny ears to me.
Love the python pattern and I’m a big fan of the Miu Miu bow, but this one just doesn’t do it for me.
I do not think I am seeing the same bag as you Amanda. This may be one of the ugliest Prada bags I have ever seen. The python is nice but not great and the bows make it look ridiculous. Prada took two bags that could seperatley be ok, and made one hideous bag. This and last seasons Prada’s are not a good reflection on the greatness of the Prada brand.
I totally agree with you, Sarah. This bag is just plain ugly! The large python in that almost pinky shade looks more like something a cougar would wear, then a luxury lover, and the bows… oh god, don’t even get me started. I’m not sure what direction this bag is trying to go in, but it sure is not a direction I’ll be heading towards.

I gotta go with the atrocious vote. I’m not a bows-and-ruffles-and-lace girl so the big tacked on bows are blowing the favaorability factor right off the bat and then you juxtapose it with the pink (???) python and it’s just plain off the charts butt ugly. (just my opinion)

The straps are too thin and sloppy for my taste – I would be scared of tear plus I’m not a fan of exotic leather (they have bags with real python ribbon I think)
