Prada has been flying below the radar. Nothing exceptionally amazing and nothing on the other end of the spectrum, exceptionally awful (ok I take that back, remember the Visone tote?!). Nevertheless, for the most part we have been un-phased by Prada.

I’m really liking this bag but I wish the hardware also could come in gold. I like silver hardware in some situations but I prefer gold with black leather. I love the size and shape and the price seems quite reasonable.

I don’t get the pockets on the side. What are they for? Water bottles? Vuitton just did something similar and I felt the same way about it. It reminds me just a little of a diaper bag — you could stuff baby bottles in those side pouches. Dislikable.
I actually think that Prada has been incredible lately. They’ve stayed away from typical “it bag” styles, and offered up some really classic shapes in leathers that are just gorgeous.gorgeous.gorgeous. I’m really craving one of their totes for fall — the Saffiano & Tessuto is stunning!

Now I really like this one, I don’t find it boring at all, but sleek and elegant. Sometimes the simple things far exceed the more elaborate designs for me.
