If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love nail art. I’m by no means a nail art guru (in fact, far from it), but over the past year I’ve been able to teach myself to steady my hand and try out some different manicures to accessorize my nails.
This week’s perfect pair comes as the last bit of summer ends. Watermelons are the fruit synonymous with summer and with plenty of days spent under the hot summer sun; there’s nothing better than biting down on a cold slice of watermelon. As for the manicure, well, it might not be the most classic, but it is fun for summer. Start with a pink or red base and add black dots for the watermelon seeds. The hardest part is painting the top of each nail green. I do mine free hand, but you can also buy French manicure stickers that help you keep the color in lines at your local drug store.
