If you have been a reader here for a while you probably have learned a few things about me. One of them may be that I love clutches with a passion and the other may be that I truly am a girly girl at times and love pink. Put the two together and you have the Versace Suede and Croc Large Clutch. Intricately designed from camel suede and camel croc-embossed leather, this daintly pink clutch wants me to hold it in my hand tonight. I will gladly do so by the way, very gladly. Right off the bat the name is not anything really descriptive (I will blame that on the site rather than Gucci itself), but this bag is oddly alluring. If you are drawn into both gold and silver, the shiny Gucci Spring/Summer 2006 Handbag may be just for you. While the bag is quite unique, there isn’t the best description given for me to work with. So today, we will all just have to rely on outer appearance to try to judge this bag for ourselves. The materials that are put together to make this bag include suede, leather, gold metal hardware. The hypnotizing part of this bag is how the signature GG’s fade from silver to shiny gold. Measuring 14 1/2″W X 7 1/2″H X 5 1/2″D, this bag is something with a little pizzazz from Gucci from Spring/Summer 2006. Buy it through StyleDrops for $949.

It has been a while since I have talked about Coach. One of the new hit looks by Coach is the pocket satchel. Let me introduce you to one of my best friend’s favorite bag, the Coach Nylon Small Pocket Satchel. Crafted from luxe nylon, this satchel shows off two front and two side pockets with turnlock closures along with an outside zip pocket. The shape is completely classy and cute with a variety of color options for your liking. On the inside you will find an inside zip pocket, a cellphone pocket, and fabric lining. For whatever reason I always thought that buying the more expensive product meant it was better. An example is when I would go to the hardware store for a specific ‘thing’. As much as I’d love to be the trendy girl that could make sense of the hardware store, I can’t. Ask Vlad, he could go on for days about it. So when I would go into the store, if there is more than one option I always go for the more expensive one. In my head, I figure that the more expensive product must be better. Later on I find out that is not always true. And everyday I realize it is also not always true with fashion. Thanks to Luxist for pointing out that a price tag of $2100 does not mean the bag looks better than a bag for $1000. Thanks to Luxist, we have found our fug bag for the week. The Jimmy Choo Nubuck Hobo with Crystals is overwhelmingly adorned with Swarovski crystals which are on top of smooth nubuck leather. The bag is perfectly explained by Luxist, saying that the bag “takes a couple of different trends; the hobo shape, all-over ornamentation, and dangling zippers and combines them to eye-paining effect.” Exactly my thoughts! Nevertheless the bag measures 7″H X 10″L X 3″W and is available for those of us who love some bling bling via Saks for $2100.

All of you should be proud of me right now. Usually I am loving so many bags everyday that it is ridiculous and impractical. For the past few days, I have felt very ambivalent to the bags I have posted. Here comes another bag leaving me undecided. While I am under the impression that long and lean is easily accepted, I am not sure that I love that aspect in a bag. The Celine Large Dorine Bag is designed from supple calfskin along with gold metal hardware and two outside pockets with buckles at each end. I can’t really imagine how this bag would hang on the body; to me it looks more like a yoga bag than anything else. Some other features include canvas contrast lining, a top zipper closure with leather pull, both cell phone and zip pockets on the inside, and two small leather straps with gold logo blazon medallion on both the front and back of the bag. I guess I was hoping this bag would be one of those crazy dual size bags that unbuckles to be a more size appropriate tote or could be buckled up to be the actual size of 20″ x 8.5″ x 6.25″. Because I am being so indecisive, why don’t you all let me know what you think of this bag: available via eLuxury for $1525.

First of all, I hope everyone stayed warm over the weekend. I know many parts of the US got pounded with snow and bitter cold temps. Because of that, I choose to lie around and only venture out for some Starbucks and shopping. While shopping I saw a huge display of Michael Kors shoes and then realized there were some handbags too. For the most part I associate Michael Kors with footwear, but there are some bags that can not be passed up. The Michael Kors Santorini Tote manifests itself in a chunky appearance but an overall simplistic color scheme and vibe. Because the weave is in, Kors decided to implement brown woven calfskin along with golden hardware for this tote. While the bag may be a bit much for some, the details are evident while not being far too overpowering. It all depends what side of the spectrum you are on. The handles are woven along with golden hardware rings and the bag is an open top. While I am not immediately drawn or not drawn to this bag (which measures 9 1/2″H x 15″W x 4″D), I figured it was a bag not to be passed up. Buy it via Neiman Marcus for $795.

In the quest for finding something to blog about, lately I’ve frequently sought input in our Purse Forum, just because our ladies have such indisputable tastes for the most sizzling and glamorous bags. Today, for example, PurseFanatic pointed out Kimora Lee’s fabulous white Versace Metallic Monogram Bag with distinct golden features. So distinct in fact, that it was mistaken for an LV… I can’t blame her, it does have a certain resemblance with the LV Speedy, the side lock looks like it may have been inspired by LV as well. Nonetheless, an absolutely fab bag.

The bag is made of Versace’s monogram silk jacquard with metallic gold leather trim and is adorned with polished gold metal studs and Versace-engraved chain links. Braided metallic gold leather straps with Versace-engraved gold metal ends on gold metal links give it a 5″ drop for easy toting around. A gorgeous satin interior with zipped pocket and Versace plaque round off this masterpiece, and for a humble 1,482 bucks via eLuxury, it’s not even all that pricey. For a Versace anyway.
