For those of you who work in the corporate world, you know that it can sometimes be tricky matching a nice handbag with your work place attire. With so many gorgeous handbags out there I love when I come across one that instantly reminds me of a perfect bag for the office. The J. Crew Marche Satchel is just this kind of bag.

Now this is a unique tote. Sure, there is a lot going on, but this is something Alexander McQueen has learned to pull off without making bags look sloppy. In fact, this aspect is what I’ve come to know and love about McQueen bags. I am sure you remember the Alexander McQueen Red Faithful Glove Clutch we covered a little while back. If you weren’t already on the McQueen bandwagon, many of you converted when you were able to embrace that clutch. This tote is no different.

We all love an eccentric handbag from time to time. You know, something that makes a statement. Something that is loud, boisterous and makes a statement. And there are other times when you sit back and say to yourself, “I just need something practical”. Luckily we have Linea Pelle to lean on.

In fact, I come across clutches all the time that I think are pretty fantastic but I have a justification for them. This clutch kind of fits into this category, but at the same time there is something just absolutely gorgeous about this Stella McCartney clutch; something that I can’t stop loving.

It’s been a little while since we’ve covered a CC Skye handbag on here. This being the case, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new bag of hers that I completely like.

I know I’ve been back and forth with fringe, but hey, haven’t we all? So, I did cringe a little when I saw the term “fringe” in the name of the bag, but I let out a huge sigh of relief when I spent some time looking at the bag. That is what is happening with designer Diane de Maria right now. After Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted toting the same hot pink bag, we tracked down the designer and bag, finding out it is the Diane de Maria Bonnie Bag.

Diane de Maria comes from an artistic background, as she is the great-granddaughter of famed painter Pierre de Maria. Her collection of bags infuses her artistic background with her travels, the passage of time, and reconciliation of the past and the future. Upon first glance the engraving in each design is hard to recognize, but upon closer inspection the geometric lines are clear.

I’m not usually the kind of girl who carries a bag like this. Yet, there was something that really caught my attention. Something that drew me in. The Marc by Marc Jacobs Canvas Small Hobo boasts the kind of color and style that would be perfect for something fun, fresh and different. This bag is loud, it is out there, it screams out for attention, and it sure has mine.
