This past Friday, Bottega Veneta opened its second Maison in the heart of Beverly Hills at 320 North Rodeo Drive. Spanning two floors, this 4,828 sq ft store features bags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, fine jewelry, home accessories, luggage, eyewear and fragrance. The design and concept of the Maison was created by Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta's Creative Director, and it focuses on lightness while blending spaciousness with intimacy.
Perfectly suited for the new location, the store fits into the Rodeo Drive aesthetic, pairing Southern California architecture with early Mediterranean Revival. Plenty of light drenches the store to show off the wares, which includes a new bag, the Beverly 71/16.
To coincide with the store opening, the brand introduced the Bottega Veneta Beverly 71/16 Bag. The bag was pulled from the archives, and as the name suggests, '71 refers to the year the design was first created, while '16 refers to its year of reintroduction. The crocodile and cervo versions of the 71/16 are exclusive to the US market in the below colorways. The crocodile is available in Pacific and Peony and retails for $33,000, while the Vesuvio Cervo retails for $3,800 via Bottega Veneta, exlucisvely at the Beverly Hills Maison. For purchase and inquiries, contact the store at 310-858-6533.
If you love the Beverly, there are three colorways available online in Intrecciato Nappa leather: Pacific, Mist and Nero, which all retail for $3,550 via Bottega Veneta online.
