After I wrote the title for this post, I realized that I am an over-user of the word chic. Still, though, many times it seems like a fitting word for many different items, and the Mulberry Evelina deserves to be called chic. In the past, I’ve found many Mulberry bags to be a tad masculine, and the Evelina’s name matches the silhouette. A touch of femininity with a ton of usability makes me love this Mulberry bag.

The soft tan leather makes for an easy-to-wear shoulder bag, and the long shoulder strap is precisely what I adore in a saddlebag like this. Just in time for winter tweeds and browns, the color of this bag will also easily transition into spring wardrobes because of its light hue. While the inside is not entirely lined with suede, there are suede accents along with a stamped canvas lining. Finishing off the bag is a magnetic fastening tab for the fold-over flap. It has been a while since a Mulberry bag stood out on my radar, and the Evelina is quite cute. Buy via Net-A-Porter for $935.

I like it, albeit the snap hardware is a little Coach-y. It’s nice and basic. My experience with suede linings turns me off to things fully lined in suede, which makes me glad this bag has some canvas in its lining. My suede blues are a result of learning the hard way that little bits of suede break off and make your contents dirty. I need to find some liners before I use the suede interior bags again.

I like this. Wonder if I can be worn crossbody.
