Have you or have you not had enough of the Mulberry Bayswater Bag? Me? Personally, I love the bag. I continue to hold out buying one, contemplating exactly which version of theirs suits my liking. I am leaning toward a simple leather version, seems to go with most outfits and is not overly gaudy (like the leopard version I covered recently).

The most coveted Bayswater that I have covered; the Purple Ostrich Bayswater Net A Porter carried a while back. Talk about stunner. The bag uses my favorite color, that is perfect with my complexion, hair, and eyes, in an exotic skin on a great bag.

Now Net A Porter is attempting to reel you all in again, with the exclusive Mulberry Ostrich Bayswater in fuchsia ostrich leather. Not all of you love the look or feel of ostrich leather, but it is a texture and look that I have come to adore. The fuchsia, well it is as feminine as it comes and reminds me of the times Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria have carried their bright pink Birkins. Does Mulberry do it for you as Hermes does it for you? Is the Mulberry Bayswater a great bag? And how about the bright hue of pink?

For me, I would prefer the purple. And again, I am still leaning toward a simple leather Bayswater, but I do say, I love all of the options. Buy through Net A Porter for $3,995.

Now this is a hip and yet ladylike stunner! What a gorgeous color… in a chic, classic shape… and yet, it is fresh and lovely.

The color is absolutely amazing, it’s just not my taste.
I love ostrich but I don’t think I’m quite girly enough to carry around such a pink bag. Maybe if it was in a nice green or something..

Don´t like the bayswater in that colour and leather – it may be stylish, but I´d much rather gor for black or the classic cognac tone. Unfortunately – as much as I like the body of the bag, I dislike the thin straps. I know, they may be uncomfortable and fall off your shoulder easily if they were thicker, but I still think it would look better. And no, never, no mulberry could ever give me the H-tickele ;-).

    Hmm… Still no for me.

I love the bays – I have a chocolate one that is my current workhorse university bag. This pink version is however a bit too much for my liking; the colour is just too striking for the size of the bag. I do love the purple version of this one (and for a great price too, esp. for ostrich!). This shocking pink would look better on the ledbury in my opinion.

    It’s perfect, absolutely amazing…!

I want to get my bayswater. But, don’t know which version to get. Is there a python skin version?

  • SKelly

    Hmmm.

I love the color, I love Ostrich, but not in this combo. The bag looks really stiff and a little off-balance, like a bad replica. Look how the leather “pulls” on the left side and how uneven the bottom is. Not for nearly $4,000.

IMHO, I like the Bayswater in smooth or pebbled leather.

i love the ostrich and the color! its nice, but i think the hermes birkin in hot pink that victoria beckham has is much better! =)

I love the pink and I love the ostrich. This is a beautiful bag.

Mulberry fan for certain, though I tend towards more neutral tones. Where can I find the best selection in the states?
