No no.I am 46 and I have got the regular size in shiny leopard and i LOVE it. I carry it when I am dress down (jean+jumper) and dressed up skirts+boots+coat and It is perfect for both.If you like it go for it.:)

Tweed? That sounds fantastic for this bag. I think that the look of this bag changes with the age of the person carrying it so that it would be great for a wide variety of age groups.
Sigh, Megs, it’s your fault that I just purchased this beauty! I’ve adored the Mulberry Alexa ever since I saw Alexa carrying one in pics, but I was waiting for the right color (i.e. a bright yellow or orange). I’m so happy I found it, but sad for my impending credit card bill;).
Funny, everyone on the forums have called the quality of it’s leather/ general make into question. This bag is apparently getting the return treatment. I think I might choose it over the PS1 as it is more feminine than the former.

I think I need to see it in person. A bit worried about the color. Also concerned it might get dirty. Love the Oak color too. The Ink version looks a bit too bright for me. If it were navy, it would be perfect, but it appears to be more of a medium blue.
