Are those coffee beans that has been engraved onto the clutch. No offence, I find it eerie. I still prefers the BV although I cannot afford it for now.

I so appreciate that your links led to your post from August (09) re: the Bottega Veneta technique of weaving leather and the serendipitous origins of the signature technique. The echo of the pattern in other categories of BV production is poetic to me. Thanks MMD!

This is one of the most unique clutches that I have seen in awhile. The price isn’t great, but maybe its worth it if you actually get to have one in your hand. However, that is just being kind because there is no way on this earth that I would spend a months rent for a clutch. I have seen Miu Miu’s other bags that have the woven leather, but unlike this clutch with complementary colors the bag had bright pink and black. For me those two colors woven in that manner spelled Barbie doll handbag, while this clutch is completely chic and sexy. I am glad they went with the gold metal instead of silver, it really warms up the bag.
