Marc Jacobs Rolls Royce Fold-Over Clutch
I’ll freely admit it – this is an odd little clutch. I mean, it’s got an old car on it. That’s weird, right? Why does a purse need a picture on it? And why a cartoon of a vintage Rolls Royce?
Honestly, I have no idea. I don’t have the answers to those questions. It doesn’t make any sense to me. But, for some reason, I think this little Marc Jacobs Rolls Royce Fold-Over clutch is completely adorable. And I’m not even sure that I can explain, in words, why I feel that way.
I’m not much of one for decoration of that type. I don’t think I own a single t-shirt that I’d wear outside of the house that has anything on the front of it. I don’t own any patterned bags, and normally I think extra stuff on the outside of the bag is there to distract from a boring design.
But this clutch is so whimsical and seems like such a sly throwback to a bygone era that I find it charming and smart. And I’m kind of worried about myself because of it. Buy through eLuxury for $1495.
It’s kinda fun, but I would never, ever spend money on such a thing.
I am not sure I would buy it either, but I actually really like it too amanda!
Oddly, I really like it. I’m not even much of a car person. It’s just so cute.
I have found myself strangely drawn to it, as well. Also, the leather interior adds an extra interest for me. I can totally see this clutch with a great simplistic outfit and a confident person carrying it for a head turning look.
This look like another “bag I created while I was stoned”. But, ” I freely admit I was stoned when I created the Vuitton headphone bag and it sold for 15K, so let’s see how gullible they still are”.

I am oddly drawn to this too but i really really cant justify the price.
I think its cute, too, in an off-the-wall kind of way!
Hmmmmmm. Did you see the episode of Sex & the City where Big buys Carrie the beaded clutch. I think it was in the shape of a swan. Anyway, if you remember her reaction to it, that’s kinda how I feel about this one.

I LOVE it! But the price tag is a little too steep for me for what it is.
If it was in the $200 – $500 range, I think I’d be tempted…
Even if it’s not a Marc Jacobs, it’s still nice. But it’s just too pricey.

i think if i were going to spend that much on a bag – it would be the PS version.

I feel this is really insensitive to today economy flaunting a rolls royce when people need food and housing. It is just wrong
On the internet it looked intriguing but in real life it’s pretty drab, it’s got no feeling of luxury to it at all.
