Tuesdays with Twiggers: Just when I think I’m done they lure me back in! This time it is the gorgeous Louis Vuitton XL handbag that has done it. I am a huge fan of the trendy oversized, super-slouchy handbags that we always see the Olsen twins carrying around, and this new handbag fits this description perfectly. If you are a fan of oversized bags then feast your eyes on this beauty that is available in the XL size (29.5” x 12.8” x 5.9”) and the XXL size (32.2” x 16.5” x 11.4”). Or, as I like to call them, enormous and ginormous! The Louis Vuitton XL and XXL are made from soft, luxurious Mahina leather with microfiber lining. In addition a top clasp keeps things secure, and side buckles can adjust the size of the bag. I’m absolutely loving this bag, but alas the price has me contemplating buying the Chanel Baby Cabas first! What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

I love it. But, why oh why is it so expensive? It seems like a great bag though for going out and every day. I just don’t think that I can swing more than $3500 for anything besides an Hermes.
I love this bag… im the type of person who needs to carry a big bag…lots of stuff and im quite tall… i think the XL will do!!! i love the color white…and yes… its a bit toooo expensive….:sad:
DO they have some crazy ass debt to pay off or something? Why in God’s name is that bag so pricey?! Shoot, after paying that much for the darn bag you won’t have anything left to put in it!

Okay, love this bag – LOVE IT – bought a BV in white (v. large) in the fall (on sale, mind you) and love it, too. The price is a killer but I went and saw it in person and it is massive and wonderful. with ya, Megs.
i haven’t been into LV in quite awhile, until i saw it walking past the LV store. i LOVE it…and yes it is really expensive!! But at least this bag is all leather right?

Louis Vuitton bags are marked at 14 times the original cost. I do not think that $3000 is reasonable if it cost less than $215 to make it.
Then again, people are going to buy LV no matter what.

as a owner of a boutique online website i get first hand as to what the customers are looking for in a handbag i think alot of these magazines and blogs sites are missing the mark there are a ton of designers out there that do not get the publicity they should and i know because i know what people are buying for example Pietro alessandro has a medium size fold over tote that is selling like crazy it comes in patent , pebble grain and vintage leather and also a shiney leather i have sold in over a week close to 30 of these bags online and in my store these are the same women that walk around with there guccis ,louies etc.. i have not seen this bag on any of these handbag blogs , the bag is priced at 225.00 and the feedback has been phenomenal! there is also another designer zina eva who makes the highest quality bags i have seen price range between 300-500 bags are absoultely gorgeous , than there is DX touch who makes high end trendy handbags that are gorgeous and the price range is 300-400 range
you have Tiziana collection which is a higher end i saw a bag on another website called calvert Tiziana makes a similiar bag her bags run between 500 and 700 calverts bag was i think over 2000.00 , than of course you have Big Buddha collection and every time i get in there line it sells out they are mor eof a Faux line but there styles are hot and everyone is buying them , so i would like to see some of these other designers getting some play as thats the ones that people are buying ,. most people can not afford a 2000.00 bag simple for the name

Have the XXL in black..LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Yes, it’s very pricey, but that’s why you get someone else to buy it for you!

I thought I’d love this bag because I’m in love with the oversized hobo’s aswell. But IRL it looked like the bag was wearing me rather than the other way round, and the straps were a bit short for comfortable shoulder wear and one strap kept falling down. Lovely bag but not for me!
It’s a nice bag, but I don’t like the inside, no pockets or lining. It’s difficult if you put small things in.

I bought this bag today… It is aamazing!! didnt know it came in a dark color though. (I got it in white). I havent liked a LV in a very long time, but today when I was in Neiman’s I saw it and fell in love!
I have this bag and absolutely LOVE it. I have the XL and it’s the perfect size. I tried the XXL and found it to be WAY too big. I do agree that things can get lost in the bag because it’s unstructured, but it is a hobo bag after all. People who know LV are in awe of the bag because this one is so hard to get. I have it in black with the matching

Ok, this bag is definitely on my list of must haves, but I agree with those who say that it is over priced. If it was half the price they could probably make more than they would selling it now.

i personally think the XL is to big for me but i own the XS in white and i love it the leather is so soft and i’ve been stopped in the mall and at the movies for compliments from people i don’t even know its amazing how much attention a louis vuitton bag gets but overall im happy with my purchase and i have no complaints!
i just wanted to post on here about my experience at the Louis Vuitton Saks Fifth Avenue in troy, michigan. i want to say that the customer service is exceptional and amazing. one person in particular helps me when i shop there…martin is his name. he is very knowledgeable and always knows the answer to every question i throw his way. i live in michigan but travel a lot for my job, i can give martin a call and he’ll send me anything i need asap. so even if you don’t live in mich, you can still order from LV saks troy…i can’t stress enough how amazing the service is…please work with martin if any of you ever go to LV saks 5th ave. in troy, michigan. you’ll be absolutely delighted. thanks!
this bag is very beautifull but id rather spend it on paying guys to let me suck there dick and play with their weeniers.Id also rather have guys touch me so id have to pay them to do that also so therefore i cannot afford this bag.!
I have this bag and I’m very grateful. I have never lost this bag because it is SO expensive. My husband bought it for me on our 10 anniversary. I am very happy. This bag is beautiful and very useful.
