There are plenty of legitimate ways to celebrate a new season, but over the past couple years, it seems like handbag brands have come to a tentative agreement that their favorite way to do it is with a new print. It gives consumers’ favorite bags a sense of seasonality that a new release of colors doesn’t quite capture, and it creates a de facto limited edition that feels urgent.
Louis Vuitton launched its summer prints a couple days ago, and they’re definitely warm weather appropriate. The spots and palm fronds splash across monogram canvas and vernis leather bags and luggage, as well as some small leather goods and scarves.
