Louis Vuitton Damier Alma and Epi Leather Alma

For every brand there are a few signature bags that everyone seemingly knows and loves. For some reason my brain is not working great right now so my example is beyond obvious: What bag to you associate with Hermes? For all the wise-guys who didn’t say Birkin, you should be ashamed of yourselves for not taking my game seriously 
When it comes to Louis Vuitton there are a few signature bags that stick out in my head. The Speedy is one for sure, but so is the Alma. There are some beautiful Alma’s that can not go unnoticed right now.
The Louis Vuitton Damier Alma is an alluring shape with the chic Damier print and is accented with smooth ebony leather trim. This bag is the perfect size for work or fun measuring 12″ L x 9″ H x 7″ W. The Alma opens wide with a double zip top closure to show off terracotta canvas lining and a cell-phone and patch pocket. Add the Damier canvas to the Alma line via eLuxury for $835.
But if you are looking for no print or pattern and only simply divine leather, give your attention to the Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Alma. Available in myrtille or black/silver this Alma shows off gorgeous textured Epi leather and is accented with smooth leather trim. While the myrtille is gorgeous, the black/silver makes me go ga-ga. There is a full double zipper closure with a padlock which opens to alcantara lining along with a small inside pocket and cell phone pocket. This Alma also measures 12″ L x 9″ H x 7″ W, and looks like the perfect work bag to me. Buy it through eLuxury for $990.
Alma is great ! I have it for everyday use. Big but beautiful. The design is so elegant.
I prefer Damier for its chocolate checkerred luxury looks.
This is such a classic shape. I love the understated elegance of LV’s Epi Leather line, but with the Alma in a vibrant color like red or orange it’s to die!
My mom got the Damier, at first I didn’t like it, but it has grown on me a lot.
Quite honestly, this looks reminiscent…almost exactly … like the Diane von Fursterberg Color on the Go collection – specifically the Boarding Bags. I have one, but it has white handles and a pretty pastel blue color. This is only to my eye by the photograph though. Maybe it’s different in person? But since it’s so similar, it’s kind of disappointing at the same time…and I like my pastel blue bag a lot better.
Damier alma is a classic and will stand the test of time. There will be IT bags along the way, but the alma will stay..
THis is a beautiful bag the damier is one of my favorites the classic style fo the alma can be appreciated by many others.

I have damier alma. I like it, it’s elegant. I was confused between Damier Alma or Monogram Alma, but I ended up with Damier Alma.

i think the damier alma is sooooo elegant and beautiful…i dont like the multicolor ones but the epi leather almas are okay I guess…but the damier alma is so roomy and to die for.

I love the Alma range – it’s really worth the money to invest in something classic and elegant. I have the Epi Alma in ivory and the timeless Damier.
Thgis Epileather looks very much to me like glorified vinyl!!!
My wife just recieved an Epileather wallet and I looked it over…looks so much like vinyl.
And so we took it to LV in NYC (live there) and got it authenticated. They says its the real deal but still not convinced its NOT vinyl…I think I will tear it up and see if its really leather or not.
