Mother Nature seems to have skipped over winter and went straight into spring this year. Today is the first official day of spring, and I have no idea how that happened or how it is already here, but I’m not complaining. NYC has been bursting with signs of spring for a while now, but especially in the past few weeks I have noticed flowers blooming and the weather making a turn for the better. I am planning to change out my winter wardrobe and bring out all of my warm weather clothes in the next few weeks.

Spring is synonymous with flowers, and there is no better way to kick off the first day of this season than with the 5 best floral print bags for spring.

Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium Floral Printed Canvas | $1,855 via Proenza Schouler

We rave about Proenza Schouler often on PurseBlog, and while some of you don’t love this option, I always have. This bag is attention-grabbing and entirely different from the rest of the feminine options in the group, which is probably why I like it.

Kate Spade New York Melinda floral-print vinyl satchel | $278 via Neiman Marcus

I have this bag in bright pink and I simply adore it. The vinyl is super easy to keep clean and makes this bag great to withstand spring showers.

Coach Hamptons Straw Floral Motif Wristlet | $128 via Coach

If you don’t want a full on floral print handbag, opt for a smaller accessory. Coach makes adorable wristlets and this one has a nod to spring wit flowers and summer with straw.

Balenciaga Floral Papier Leather Tote | $1,725 via Neiman Marcus

Balenciaga released a few floral print Motorcycle bags years ago, and since then I have always wished I nabbed one. Now I (and you) can as they have a pretty in pink Floral Papier Leather Tote which is perfect for everyday use.

Milly Poppy-print Canvas Tote | $295 via Net-A-Porter

Milly has been offering amazing accessories as of late and this poppy-print canvas tote is no different. The price is right and the design screams spring.

Am I the only one who cringes when they see floral bags every spring??? As much as I love flowers these bags are like the Hawaiian shirt of handbags to me.

I always feel like I should be apologising when I carry a floral bag !  Sorry I have a floral bag with me today. They are popular with six year old girls, the elderly, and me…
Personally I think it is the abundance of pink that tends to put people off them, but they do make me smile when I take one out for a surreptitious outing.
They must bring out the six year old in me. LOL   Love the Kate Spade.

The Kate Spade and Milly are my favorites. I love floral prints, so this spring trend is one of my favorites.
