Jimmy Choo is doing things a little bit differently this season, eh? Known previously for structured (or at least mostly structured) handbags, the brand has seemingly gone in a completely different direction lately – and if they’re wrong, I don’t want to be right! My day job is in a creative industry (as is this, my night job, I suppose) and I’m kind of disorganized and “unbuttoned” anyway, so super-structured bags (or anything) really aren’t my scene. I love the slouch.
The Jimmy Choo Lara Shoulder Bag is a perfect example of Choo’s new look. In perfect winter white, the bag looks soft enough to sleep on (just stuff a few old t-shirts inside). I have a feeling that this is the kind of bag that looks even better with your stuff in it – wonderfully saggy and supple without entirely losing its shape. Plus, winter white looks great against the greys and chocolate browns that characterize cold-weather clothing. So, what’s stopping you? Buy through Net-a-Porter for $1125.

The Jimmy Choo Lara Shoulder Bag is lovely. It is almost impossible to find a winter white bag, and this purse is beautiful. Even though it is a shoulder bag, you could carry this purse from day to night. It has it all.
After reading the comments on the Jimmy Choo Lara, I had to order from Net-a-porter. I believe I may have purchased the last one available. I can’t wait to receive it. I own the Jimmy Choo Ramona blue biker leather bag and love it. I’m hooked on Choo, but can only buy when ‘the price is right…sale, sale, sale!!!
I think I ordered the last Jimmy Choo Lara from NET-A-PORTER.COM yersterday on sale! I paid under 700 United Kingdom pound. I love sale, now I can even buy one more because the price was so low!
