Introducing Ghurka Handbags

We recently had a member of the PurseBlog team visit Ghurka to check out the brand’s bags, and while it’s still a brand I don’t know well, I realized we haven’t covered them since the early PurseBlog days. Ghurka is not a newcomer, but it deserves a reintroduction to PurseBlog.

Ghurka began in the 1970s, and its leather bags and accessories are all handmade by master artisans in America. Each design is individually numbered and registered, which makes each Ghurka bag unique. The bags are meant to be worn and enjoyed, but Ghurka also stands behind the bags and builds them to provide a lifetime of use.

The bags that caught my attention are the suede and leather combination pieces the brand has right now; with a pretty blue and pink and perfect grey, the combos are just right. The Rover 66 might be my favorite of the lot for it’s spaciousness, but the Tilbury is beautiful as well. Each bag is offered in a variety of colors and materials, and all speak to the brand’s history. Check out my favorite items below, along with price info!
