This 26-year-old is breaking into the scene with his launch of luxury accessories named so perfectly, Corto Moltedo. Net-A-Porter carries a variety of handbags by this new designer which showcase his range; combining Italian luxury and funky detailing. At 26, this young man has already designed hit bags and we are sure to see and hear more of him in 2007. Scary looking bags for my taste of fashion nothing compares to other bags. Why is it that now all or almost all rich kids want to design there own line, leave it to us that study and work our ass off to create something with talent and time.

Not sure how could be twenty six in ‘07, since he was about four when I used to hang out with his half-brother(whose father was the real founder of Bottega) in ‘78. Oh, well.
I really like those bags.. maybe the last one isn’t so great but the small ones are fabulous!
You gotta give it to him though, that he tries and make something different. They might not all be beauties, but at least he is trying. Does anybody know how the quality of these bags are?

Corto Moltedo is one of the most refreshing designers to come around in a long time. His bags are made with the most sumptuous leathers and skins and quality hardware. I bought his Elisabeth in White Python and the Lady Priscilla in black while I was in Paris. Check out his new line I promise you will love it.
