Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo Bag

For me to drag you through another paragraph of why this handbag is amazing would be a waste of both of our times. We all know by now that Bottega Veneta provides ultimate luxury leather goods, that their leather is as supple as you are going to get, and that the only designer that can truly weave leather is Bottega Veneta. So rather than gush about how lush and supple this bag is, how great the leather sits, and how many compliments you will get, I will simply inform you that the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo Bag in gray leather is available on Net A Porter right now. A flap closure, strap across the top, and beige suede lining finish this bag off. Stunning, like all Bottega Bags are, through NAP for $2,250.

I would like to post a message to BV, please make these amazing bags better accomodate
a shoulder carry. Spoke to another woman in NM yest. pondering a BV purchase, and the comlaint was the same as mine. Arms bags are great, but realities are those moments
when only a shoulder wil do.

BV isn’t the only one that makes woven leather. There’s a French-Indian collaboration brand called ‘Calonge’ that makes lovely bags, shoes & belts in woven styles. Not as luxe as BV, but way more affordable. Not sure where they’re available in US or Europe though…

Calonge is a Swiss/Indian collaboration and its quality compares very well with BV. The colours are beautiful and the weaves exquisite. The prices are way, way less than BV and besides bags they do lovely shoes/wallets/belts.
