Even the earliest retail pre-orders, as you might guess, are far more indicative of what consumers can actually expect to see in stores than bags that are included in shows, which, as you guys recently pointed out, are often super weird. Moda Operandi's revolutionary trunk show concept, which allows the site to offer pre-orders of collections that have debuted as little as a day prior, has forced other retailers to step up their presale options, and for the last few season, Neiman Marcus has responded with a highly edited selection of options.
NM's pre-orders include handbags from brands like Prada, Alexander Wang and Balenciaga, to name a few, and they confirm a few ideas that a month's worth of runway bags have given us about Spring 2014's accessory trends.
