It looks kind of like fish scales and I've seen them in different colors. Most of them are faux leather and have wood beads on the handle but I am looking for one that is real leather with a simple leather strap that is attached to the bag with silver rings. I have seen one with a Dolce tag on the front (possibly a knock off)and I've been told Kate Spade was the original designer. It doesn't have to be designer but I would prefer real leather.
