It’s time to bear with me. I have been traveling for about 18 hours and I’m exhausted. Good news is I made it to Germany to be with Vlad perfectly fine. I was a bit disappointed by the movie selection offered, but what can you do. So after a quick nap and while Vlad cooks for me, I’m ready to post- about a bag that I have no desire to own. Remember when you were little, I mean way little, and you had to go to great-grandma’s house or that woman who your mom said was somehow related to you, and she had that drab house. The drab house with the wood paneling, green shag carpet, baby poo colored couches, and those hideous curtains. Yep, I know you all remember it (hell, you might have lived in it). I always felt so uncomfortable in those kind of houses. First thing that came to mind when I saw this Miu Miu Velvet Twiggy Bag was those kind of houses. It looks like an awful curtain pattern that would give you a headache/migraine when looking at it. You know what I mean- those patterns that are unbearable to look at for fear that you might go cross-eyed. Yup, this is it. The bag is a rectangular velvet shoulder bag with over lapping buckle and cracked leather trim. I really do not like the gold Miu Miu logo on it either. I really just don’t like any of it. Nope. So if any of you firmly object, just blame my lack of love for this bag on my extreme jet-lag. And if you do object so strongly that you would like to buy it, hop over to Saks and nab it for $765.

why shell out that money, get yourself a small box, locate that vintage wallpaper (like the curtains you speak off) and wallpaper the box, through on a handle from an older bag, and voila! you have the same thing…

Zippy shall say quietly that she finds the bag rather attractive, (ssshhh.) I have found a few Pradas’, Diors’, and Vuittons’ which gave me cause to question the sanity of the designers.
It looks antique-y. If your like Victorian and dressing up in high collars and lace, this would be a good prop.
This is a little something I like to call straight-out-of-grams-wardrobe-trunk not that it’s bad
I don’t know… it’s a very eye-catching pattern.
The problem with the bag is that the hardware clashes with the velvet pattern. The hardware looks wild-west while the velvet looks art nouveau.
You guys are nuts! This bag is beautiful. It’s colorful, chic, and luxurious.
