Saks Fifth got in plenty of fall collection bags, including the new Marc by Marc Jacobs line. The bags are overall pretty spectacular, Jacobs does not hold back on the creative side and blesses us with whitty and unique creations, mostly in purple(ish) shades. One that struck me the most was the Marc Jacobs Leather Top Handle Bag. What a clever little number. The back pocket design is aided by the high contract stitching and turns this bag into a distinguishable piece. A snap diary-lock flap provides closure, while the front sports a zipped pocket. A center zip compartment on the inside helps you to keep your miscellaneous mess on the inside to a minimum and is lined with multi-stripe cotton. Yes! Thank you for noticing this gorgeous bag. I saw this about a week ago and fell in love with the Mary Tyler Moore-esque look. At 10″H X 13″L X 5″W, though, it’s a little too small for me. Also, if you could post a link to some site that shows how the bag opens and what the inside looks like, that would be awesome.

I don’t know what it is about contrast stitching. The greater the contrast, the better. It’s like a purse aphrodiasic for me.
GOD that’s pretty brilliant. MJ has still got it! Navy and red are amazing as a pair I had one of his military jackets from ‘02 and those 2 colors ROCKED together.
