Hi All,

I’m not sure if the blog is still going but I need your help.

I was recently a victim of a home burglary in which my wife’s Gucci handbag and wallet were stolen The burglary was traumatic enough but was compounded by the fact that this was my gift to her on our honeymoon and there is a significant amount of sentiment attached.

I have looked at on most websites but cannot seem to locate this bag and was looking for your help on this matter. My wife’s birthday is on the 17th June and cannot think of a better present than to reunite her with her favourite bag.

The description of the bag (have a picture but can’t upload) is as follows;

Brown Gucci Embossed Bag with bamboo handle bought in 2007. Probably has a name but don’t know what it is.

You know, Meg, I remember an old post of yours that said you couldn’t pass by the window of a Coach store without throwing up, that you had to cross the street to avoid it. Such drama. I’ll admit I don’t like the logos either, but I’m not so closed minded I’d automatically dismiss the leather bags without seeing them. Now you’re saying the same thing about Gucci, which many women dream of owning. Your boredom towards luxury items kills the thrill for many women who save up for these bags. Life must be a hardship, isn’t it? You’re alive but with nothing left to enjoy. Your jaded attitude is pretentious and revolting. I’ll bet the bags that get your approval never get noticed by the average woman that passes you on the street anyway. What a shame.

I love this bag! It has enough room to carry all of my stuff (books, snacks, etc…). I usually wear it across my body like a messenger bag but, should I desire to hand hold it, the shoulder strap is removable. I have gotten lots of compliments and is very pleased with my purchase!

I just hate any bag with 2 straps. They’re so schizophrenic and the long straps are annoying when you don’t want to use them. And if you do use the long strap — the handles get in the way. Ugh! Just make the handles long enough to throw over the shoulder and be done with it already! And those bamboo handles — worthless. They are hard and uncomfortable to use at all. thumbs down, way down
